On March 21, 2005, the life of 32-year-old Michelle Leigh Sigana was tragically cut short in a devastating series of events that unfolded on the Red Lake Indian Reservation in Minnesota. A member of the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians, Michelle was at her home with her companion, Daryl Lussier, Sr., when the unthinkable happened. Lussier's 16-year-old grandson, Jeffrey Weise, who was living with them, initiated a violent rampage that would ultimately claim ten lives, including his own.
