Charlotte Ann Rawls, aged 52, was found dead on May 7, 2016, in an apartment complex located on the 200 block of 5th Street East in St. Paul, Minnesota. The incident occurred early in the morning after reports of gunfire were received by the police. Upon arrival, officers discovered Rawls' body inside the apartment, along with a man who had been shot multiple times. The wounded man was transported to Regions Hospital for treatment and was expected to survive.
