Kalin Parker, a 21-year-old Black / African American male, was fatally shot on September 29, 2017, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The incident occurred in the early evening, around 6:46 p.m., in the Jordan neighborhood. Police responded to a 911 call about a man down next to a vehicle outside the Broadway Flats, a mixed-use development located in the area of Penn and 25th Avenues North. Upon arrival, they found Parker with a gunshot wound to the head.
