In the city of Minneapolis on November 2, 2017, the life of 35-year-old Hispanic female Martina Lopez Garcia was tragically cut short in her own home. Officers were called to her apartment in the 2700 block of Cedar Avenue South around 3 p.m. after two acquaintances discovered the bodies of Garcia and a man later identified as Homero Lopez Salinas, also 35 years old.
