Mohamed Abdi Mohamoud, a 22-year-old resident of St. Paul, Minnesota, was tragically shot on December 2, 2018. The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. near the Dunning Recreation Center on Marshall Avenue, close to Lexington Parkway. Following the shooting, Mohamoud was transported to Regions Hospital by an unknown individual and was immediately admitted for treatment.
Despite the medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away on December 9, 2018.
Investigations into the shooting revealed that Mohamoud was shot in the head, and he remained in intensive care until his death. The St. Paul police have been actively interviewing witnesses and gathering information to identify the shooter.
