On November 3, 2020, at approximately 9:15 p.m., St. Paul police responded to reports of gunshots at a duplex in the 2200 block of West Seventh Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 42-year-old Ruben Adrian Paramo Sr. deceased inside the residence, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner later determined that Paramo had been shot 16 times.
