On October 1, 2023, 36-year-old Khoua Yang of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound in the 2100 block of Scenic Place in St. Paul's East Side. Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 2:10 a.m., and paramedics pronounced Yang dead at the scene.
