Gregory Octavis Elting, aged 39, was tragically shot on October 14, 2021, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The incident occurred in the 800 block of East Franklin Avenue just before 10 p.m. Elting sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was immediately transported to Hennepin County Medical Center. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries three days later, on October 17, 2021, at 6:20 p.m. His death was officially ruled a homicide by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.
