In the winter of 2021, on December 27th, the life of Leroy L. Morris, a 34-year-old Black/African American man, was tragically cut short in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Morris, who had no permanent address, suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the torso late that Monday morning. The incident unfolded in the 3700 block of South Park Avenue, where police officers responded to a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Morris deceased at the scene.
