In the warm afternoon of August 14, 2022, tragedy struck at a Minneapolis intersection laden with historical significance. Aaron James Rodgers, a 25-year-old Black/African American male from Las Vegas, was fatally shot near the corner of 38th Street East and Chicago Avenue, an area known as George Floyd Square.
