In the warm afternoon of August 14, 2022, tragedy struck at a Minneapolis intersection laden with historical significance. Aaron James Rodgers, a 25-year-old Black/African American male from Las Vegas, was fatally shot near the corner of 38th Street East and Chicago Avenue, an area known as George Floyd Square. The incident unfolded at approximately 12:51 p.m., shattering the Sunday peace.
