On November 2, 2015, a welfare check at a rural residence in Fredonia, Kansas, led to a grim discovery and a profound sense of loss for the community. Inside the home, authorities found the bodies of 43-year-old Russell Scott Blevins, a White male, his 43-year-old wife, Eva Michelle Blevins, and her 19-year-old son, Jacob Mark Traylor. All three had died from gunshot wounds.
