Bruce Alan Cox, a 63-year-old Caucasian male, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017, in Dodge City, Kansas. Born in Dodge City on June 5, 1953, he spent most of his youth in the nearby town of Spearville, where he graduated from Spearville High School. After finishing school, he worked with various harvesting crews and as a welder for a local company. He was a father to three children and a grandfather to five.
His leisure time was often filled with his passions for motorcycles, fishing, and visiting the casino.
Following his death, a gathering for family and friends was held on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, followed by a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at the Bucklin Community Church. In a final act of generosity, Bruce was an organ donor, potentially helping over 50 individuals.
