In the cold of a late January night in Dodge City, Kansas, the life of 18-year-old Zacarias Giannino, a male of Hispanic descent, was cut short. On January 28, 2021, Giannino was fatally wounded by a single gunshot to the head in what police believe transpired in VFW Park. For weeks, his fate remained a mystery, his body concealed in a secluded outdoor area nearby.
