In the winter of 2018, the quiet fields of Decatur County, Kansas, became the final resting place for Scott J. Hunter, a 55-year-old Caucasian man from Bellevue, Nebraska. On January 26th of that year, he was discovered deceased inside his vehicle, bringing a somber end to a multi-state law enforcement effort.
