In the early morning hours of March 8, 2014, the life of Patrick Daniel Roberts, a 39-year-old White/Caucasian male, was tragically cut short in his Lawrence, Kansas, home. Roberts, a stay-at-home father, was fatally shot during what authorities described as a home invasion.
