In the spring of 2018, a quiet street in Kansas City, Kansas, became the scene of a grim discovery that would unravel a story of violence and ultimate justice. On April 2, 2018, Edward Rawlins, a 51-year-old Black/African American man, was found deceased inside a duplex.
