On a Sunday afternoon in Kansas City, Kansas, the life of Gabriel Jackson-Lewis, a 25-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short. On May 6, 2018, police responded to reports of a shooting in the 7700 block of Yecker Avenue. Upon their arrival at approximately 1:10 p.m., they discovered Jackson-Lewis suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
