In the early morning hours of June 14, 2021, a grim discovery was made in Kansas City, Kansas, that would mark the violent end of a life. Forty-five-year-old Kyle E. Slater, a White/Caucasian male from Kansas City, Missouri, was found deceased inside a vehicle. The car was located in the 3100 block of Kimball Avenue, where officers from the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department had responded to a shooting call at approximately 7:13 a.m.
