In the early morning hours of September 1, 2022, the life of 24-year-old KeShawn Ivy, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Topeka, Kansas. Police were dispatched to a residence in the 1100 block of SW Lincoln Street shortly after 7 a.m. following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, first responders discovered Ivy suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
