In the late hours of a Thursday evening in Washington, D.C., the life of 26-year-old Patrick Shaw was tragically cut short. On June 18, 2015, at approximately 11:26 p.m., gunshots echoed through the 1300 block of 5th Street, NW. When officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene, they found Patrick Shaw suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
