In the late hours of a Thursday evening in Washington, D.C., the life of 26-year-old Patrick Shaw was tragically cut short. On June 18, 2015, at approximately 11:26 p.m., gunshots echoed through the 1300 block of 5th Street, NW. When officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene, they found Patrick Shaw suffering from gunshot wounds.
