On a cold December evening in Washington, D.C., the life of Damien Keith Thomas was tragically cut short. The 29-year-old male was in the 2200 block of Mount View Place, Southeast, on Friday, December 23, 2016, when gunfire erupted at approximately 9:32 p.m. Responding to a report of the sounds of gunshots, officers from the Seventh District arrived to a grim scene.
