On a late Saturday night in Washington, D.C., a 19-year-old female named Zymia Joyner was killed in a burst of gunfire that erupted at an outdoor party. The incident, which took place on June 13, 2020, in the Congress Heights neighborhood, also claimed the life of 19-year-old Rashard Waldo and left five other people wounded.
