Delonte Johnson, a 28-year-old male from Southeast, Washington, D.C., was shot and killed on the afternoon of Friday, June 11, 2021. The incident occurred around 1:39 p.m. in the 4600 block of Hillside Road, Southeast, where police responded to the sound of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Despite life-saving efforts, Johnson succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
