In the late hours of a Friday evening in Washington, D.C., tragedy struck the community. On October 1, 2021, at approximately 11:15 pm, the sound of gunshots pierced the night in the unit block of Forrester Street, Southwest. When officers from the Seventh District arrived at the scene, they discovered a chaotic and violent tableau. Six people had been shot.
