On a Thursday evening in October 2009, a young life was tragically cut short in the Edgewood Terrace housing complex in Washington, D.C. Kenyetta Daiarra Nicholson-Stanley, a 17-year-old female, was outside in the 500 block of Edgewood Street, NE, at approximately 8:08 p.m. on October 8th. While she was chatting with a security guard, gunshots suddenly erupted.
