Kenyetta Daiarra Nicholson-Stanley, a 17-year-old resident of Washington, D.C., was tragically shot and killed on Thursday, October 8, 2009. The incident occurred at approximately 8:08 pm in the 500 block of Edgewood Street.

Kenyetta's life came to an end the following day, on Friday, October 9, 2009, as a result of the gunshot wounds she sustained. Her sudden and untimely death was a profound loss to her family and community.
