In the spring of 2022, a dispute in Southeast Washington, D.C. tragically escalated, resulting in the death of 48-year-old Irvin Brandon. On the evening of May 3rd, in the 700 block of Brandywine Street, SE, Mr. Brandon, a Black male, was reportedly seen arguing with two unidentified men. The disagreement took a violent turn when he was shot.
