On a summer afternoon in Washington, D.C., a shooting incident claimed the life of 49-year-old Jeffrey Oxner. The male victim, a resident of Southwest, D.C., was found with a gunshot wound on Friday, July 29, 2022. The event unfolded in the 900 block of Valley Avenue, Southeast, prompting a response from the Seventh District of the Metropolitan Police Department at approximately 3:04 p.m. after reports of gunshots in the area.
