On May 24, 2019, 25-year-old Corderrius Rashad Henderson was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 5:45 a.m. at the Deer Park Apartments, located in the 100 block of 17th Street Southwest. Upon arrival, officers discovered Henderson in front of the apartment building, suffering from a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
