In the quiet, upscale gated community of Montreux, Nevada, a tragedy unfolded that would leave a lasting chill in the affluent neighborhood. On March 28, 2006, Albert Raymond Al Musalo, a 75-year-old male, and his wife, Joan, were found shot to death in the master bedroom of their home. The couple, who had been married for over 50 years, had moved to the Reno area to be closer to their children and grandchildren after Albert's retirement as a flight engineer for Pan Am Airlines.
