On August 6, 2015, a tragic incident occurred in an east valley mobile home in Las Vegas, Nevada, resulting in the deaths of two individuals, including 37-year-old Chad Allen DeGroat. There were no arrests made in this case, as it was determined that Robert DeGroat was the perpetrator who took his own life after killing Chad Allen DeGroat. The incident marked the 68th homicide investigated by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in 2015. The police and coroner's office handled the identification and investigation, but no additional suspects or arrests were involved in this case.
