On the night of March 22, 2021, 36-year-old Jourell Ng was at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada, engaged in a live chat with a friend. During their conversation, the friend heard the barking of Ng's dog, followed by a sound they described as a slap, and then a scream before the line went silent. This would be the last time anyone other than his wife would hear from him alive.
