According to reports, Abram and another man were shot during a party at the apartment when a confrontation with a suspect escalated into violence.
Abram and the second victim were found with gunshot
wounds around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both men were transported to University Medical Center Trauma, where Abram was pronounced deceased due to multiple gunshot wounds. The second victim sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.
The investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department revealed that the shooting occurred after a confrontation between the victims and the suspect at the party. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
Following the incident, Metro homicide detectives launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the suspect. On March 1, 2016, just a few days after the shooting, a suspect was arrested and identified as 24-year-old Terrell Moore. Moore was detained and booked into the Clark County Detention Center, facing charges of murder with a deadly weapon, attempted murder, and battery with a deadly weapon.
Moore's arrest was a result of the ongoing investigation, and he was held accountable for the fatal shooting of Ronald Abram and the non-fatal shooting of the second victim.
