In the summer of 2017, a quiet apartment complex in Las Vegas became the scene of a violent crime that cut short the life of Jesus Vasquez-Mendiola. A 45-year-old Hispanic male, Vasquez-Mendiola was found deceased in his own home on the evening of Thursday, June 29, 2017. The grim discovery was made by his roommate at their residence on the 3600 block of Ala Drive.
