In the late hours of a Tuesday night in Las Vegas, the life of 26-year-old Chante Nicole Johnson was brought to a tragic and violent end. On March 8, 2016, gunshots shattered the quiet of a northwest valley neighborhood. When police responded to the scene in the 5800 block of Delabarre Place, near North Jones Boulevard and West Smoke Ranch Road, they found Johnson, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the head. The Clark County coroner's office would later rule her death a homicide.
