In the early morning hours of April 20, 2016, a fatal encounter unfolded at the Safari Motel on Fremont Street in Las Vegas. Pedro Munoz Rodriguez, a 37-year-old Hispanic male, was standing in the doorway of his motel room when a verbal dispute erupted with another man. The argument escalated tragically when the other individual retrieved a gun from his car and opened fire.
