In the early morning hours of April 28, 2017, the life of 26-year-old Raneisha Smith, a Black female from Las Vegas, Nevada, was tragically cut short. The incident unfolded at approximately 3:20 a.m. on the balcony of an apartment located in the 3300 block of Civic Center Drive. Smith was with another individual, a 25-year-old man, when gunfire erupted.
