On September 6, 2017, a tragic incident occurred in a North Las Vegas neighborhood, resulting in the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Cynthia Alden. The event unfolded in the 3200 block of Lillis Avenue, near the intersection of Pecos Road and Carey Avenue.
