The perpetrator of this senseless act of violence was identified as a 64-year-old man from Mesquite, Nevada. He was found deceased in his hotel room from a self-inflicted gunshot wound by the time law enforcement breached the door. As the sole person responsible for the attack, there were no subsequent arrests or suspects sought in connection with the death of Patricia Louise Mestas and the other victims.
