The perpetrator of this horrific act was identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock of Mesquite, Nevada. He had meticulously planned the attack, amassing a significant arsenal of firearms in his hotel suite. For approximately ten minutes, from 10:05 p.m. to 10:15 p.m., Paddock fired more than 1,000 rounds into the unsuspecting crowd below.
