On the evening of November 29, 2017, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace at an apartment complex on Selmi Drive in Reno, Nevada, forever altering the lives of a local family. Inside one of the apartments, 24-year-old Hispanic male, Christian Gonzales, was struck by a single bullet. First responders rushed to the scene around 7:00 p.m. and transported him to Renown Medical Center, but his life could not be saved.
