In the spring of 2015, a life was cut tragically short in a Reno, Nevada park. Joe Hernandez Jr., a 21-year-old Hispanic male, was at University Ridge Park in north Reno when violence erupted. A fight broke out, and in the ensuing chaos, several gunshots were fired. Hernandez was struck, sustaining critical injuries.
