Dorval Jenkins, aged 19, was shot and killed on August 19, 2014, in Chicago’s South Deering neighborhood. The incident occurred when Jenkins and two others were attacked in a shooting that left him fatally wounded. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead later that evening. The other victims in the shooting sustained non-fatal injuries.
