In the summer of 2020, the life of Brent Lloyd, a 48-year-old Caucasian male, was tragically cut short in what Las Vegas police would later describe as a senseless "thrill killing." On the morning of July 13, a jogger discovered Lloyd's body on a sidewalk near an apartment complex. He had been shot in the head while he was sleeping. At the time, Lloyd was experiencing homelessness.
