In the late evening hours of October 30, 2021, the life of 26-year-old Deldridge Earl Jones Jr., a Black male, was tragically cut short in Las Vegas, Nevada. Police responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 5100 block of East Twain Avenue, near Nellis Boulevard, at approximately 10:40 p.m. Arriving officers discovered Jones suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Despite the efforts of medical responders, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
