On December 6, 2021, 28-year-old Taylor Dickins of Reno, Nevada, was found dead inside his car in a nearby alleyway in downtown Reno. The discovery was made by officers who responded to the scene, where Dickins was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the crime scene, and the cause and manner of his death were subsequently confirmed as a homicide.
