In a quiet northwest Las Vegas neighborhood, a domestic dispute tragically escalated, leading to the death of Blake Eric Clawson. A 56-year-old White / Caucasian male, Clawson was found deceased on February 1, 2022, in what authorities would later describe as a murder-suicide. The grim discovery was made by a relative in a home on the 5100 block of Cutty Way.
Investigations by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department revealed that Clawson and his 52-year-old wife, Tammy Clawson, had
been in a prolonged argument for a couple of days. This conflict reached a devastating conclusion when Tammy Clawson fatally shot her husband before turning the gun on herself. The relative who found them reported hearing loud bangs the previous night but had dismissed the noise, thinking it was caused by dogs.
As the investigation unfolded, it became clear that this was a contained incident of domestic violence. Police confirmed there were no other individuals involved and, consequently, no outstanding suspects. With the perpetrator also deceased, no arrests were made in the case. The authorities emphasized the tragedy as a stark reminder of the devastating consequences of unresolved domestic issues and urged those in similar situations to seek help.
