In the neon glow of Las Vegas, a life was tragically cut short on October 3, 2022. Dion Lamon Southern Jr., a 48-year-old Black / African American male, was found in a parking lot in the 800 block of North Rancho Drive around 11 p.m.. He had sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Clark County coroner's office later ruled his death a homicide.
