Alexandria had gone to pick up her younger brother from a small birthday gathering when the fatal incident occurred. She was standing in the kitchen of the apartment when a bullet fired from outside entered the home, striking and killing her instantly. Despite efforts by her family to find answers, her case remains unsolved.
Alexandria had recently graduated from high school and was starting her journey in college, aspiring to become a social worker. She was known for her caring nature, close relationship with her family, and her desire to help others, particularly children. Her loss deeply affected her family, especially her brother, who was present at the scene and witnessed the horrific event. In the years following her death, her family has worked to raise awareness about gun violence, advocating for stronger gun control measures and seeking justice for Alexandria's untimely death.
Her passing left a void in her community, and her family continues to honor her memory while calling for action to prevent similar tragedies from happening to others. Alexandria’s life, filled with promise and dreams of helping others, was cut short by a random act of violence, a reflection of the ongoing gun violence crisis affecting many families in Chicago.
