In a quiet subdivision in Douglas County, Colorado, a grim discovery was made on June 7, 1977, that would leave a lasting chill on the community. Patricia L. Bowden, a 41-year-old White female, and her husband, Roy, were found deceased in their home on Dawson Road in the Perry Pines area near Sedalia. The couple had been shot, their lives abruptly ended in what investigators believe happened sometime between June 5th and June 7th.
