On the evening of October 16, 1980, 32-year-old Terry Snyder, who worked as the store manager for Downing Appliances, went to show a vacant residence to some potential renters. When he failed to return home for the night, his family became concerned and contacted the police. Responding officers checked the residence and found Terry Snyder inside a house on the 1600 block of South Humboldt Street in Denver, Colorado. Tragically, he had been shot to death.
